The number is 194 in my old 1994 F250. I changed to white gauges and a blue bulb from sylvania... that looked awesome in my book! I got the bulb from Auto Zone. Sylvania makes them in red, orange, blue, and green.
I can't see why Ford would change it from 94 till now. But Fords done some stupid things in the past. Look at the 6.blow right after the success with 7.3. They probably changed it to a dealer only bulb that costs $15 each. LOL
It would be best to check it again or call the stealership parts dept in the morning. They can tell ya.
okay..thanks the only thing is if its a dealer part..i cant get blue...
The dealer part thing was a joke. The dealer will be able to tell you which bulb so the next time you tear into it you can replace it with somthing cool!!!!
Look for the new Nite Hawks from Sylvania, they are brighter than regular bulbs.
after you find the bulb type scrole down to the bottom of this page and you will see instrument cluster LED bulbs..should find what you need there..my cluster is white faced and glows blue when the lights are on..it looks good IMO..i also did my autometers in blue LED to match..
