Is that truck sitting at a scrap yard. Someone save it. It looks to be in pretty good condition. That does look like the front fender laying there in the box. The one you see mostly is a 73-79 fender, but the other fender looks to be the unibodys fender.
The endgate on that truck is worth its weight in gold. Those endgates only fit the unibody's and there are guys always screaming for them. Sherm you should get that truck and move it. Maybe try getting ahold of 61 Cnuck out there. I think he has a unibody.
I kick myself at times here for letting go the 63 I had sitting here. It had no endgate which I could not find. That one looks pretty good condition still.
i'll be hauling it home regardless i think, but if anyone wants it its theirs as i don't have the time to give it right now. i'm not planning on letting it get crushed willingly though.
Man... Where was that 5 1/2 years ago? I'd be half done right now. The sad thing is the 63 Unibody I originally wanted is still sitting in the exact same place. The owner was saving it for his son but I'd say he has no interest and the license plate says 1982.
Hey if Ryan doesnt take it let me know, I want seconds dibs, or third dibs! If I dont get called to work right away I could come get it this weekend, or early next week.
From these pictures it looks save-able but that may not be the case.
Either way it`s worth saving, even if only for parts.
Like Glen says about the t/g is rare and there is more there.
Well might as well let you all know, looks like the old Mercur won't be crushed. Sadly though a 1965 International 1100 pickup will be tanking its place.....
This is all still jumping the gun but looke like the Mercury found a home.
