The Dashhawk itself usually runs $300, but I could give you a site and discount code to get it for $250.
The Autometer mount runs around $40.
I bought the paint from Diesel Manor to paint it grey to match for $20. Others here say they have bought paint from the dealer or from a parts store for less.
The EGT kit is not for sale yet, and they haven't really hinted at any pricing for it yet. If I would have to guess I would say no more than $100, and more than likely closer to $50. I could be way off though.
As far as someone walking off with it, yes the unit can be easily removed, but it would be harder for them to get the cable out too. And it's not much good without the cable. Of course since it is so easy to remove you could always pull it out and store it in the console or take it with you if you were worried about it.

will this also monitor all the same stuff on the v10 triton
I know that it will only work on the 05-up V10's because that is when they switched to the OBD II-CAN system in them. I am not 100% sure what parameters work in them. I would assume oil, coolant, transmission, and air temps would work but I could not gaurantee it.
Beerstalker, sry for the late reply. But that is good info. So, how much would a unit like that cost fully configured like you have it there? Everything ties into the OBD-II but the EGT and oil press, right?
The only reason why I'd perfer gauges to that is how easy something like that could walk. I'd image it would take much.
lonewolftx, how well do the ul's do at night? Do you have picks of while there illuminated? Also, had a change to view your gallery. Good stuff man.
I have tried all three options; clear light, red, & green gells. I like the green the best as it comes close to the KR dash at night. Really easy to see the guages at night, no problem there. No night pic at this point.
