battery cable ???

have any of you guys replaced all of your battery cables? if so where did you get them and what kind of money am I looking at spending? I'm having trouble with the intire charging system on my truck and am looking to replacing the cables and batts. the alt has just been replaced and is working fine the batts just will not hold a charge.

Before you go spending a couple hundred bucks on the postive battery cable from ford, which from what i kno is the only place you can get it and i would belive to have it. When i replaced one at work it ran 185 or 285. It wasnt bad to change but have you had a load test done on the batties if they wont hold a charge? maybe there junk? Is you whole cable cracked, corroed or coming apart in any spots?

Rember thats the complete cable! From your starter to all your relays to your batteries it covers everything. Thats the real deal and if you dont have an account with a ford dealer your gonna pay$$$.

If i had to replace mine,i would go with welding cable and make my own.
