yes, you can put aftermarket seat heaters in. i had them installed in my front 2 buckets for $170 each. that was in iowa. not sure on pricing for leather. you can shop around for oem seat covers on ebay, automotive stores, and even call your local dealer for their price, although usually much higher. good luck.

Call your local salvage yard and have them do a search on their computer for complete interior. You may be surprised by what they find. They will possibly allow a trade of your current seats if in good enough condition.

do a search on "classic soft trim" and look for a post by tnt in round rock, his seats look killer and it wasn't really that expensive.

I had it done at a professional upholstery shop. It would have taken 3-4 weeks, but took 4 months. (I'm very picky and made them change anything that I didn't like the looks of). I also had the Front headrests made thicker, the armrests lengthened, and embroidery and patches sewn on. It cost $3,000 which included all of the custom stuff. I do not know if you could install the factory ones on your seats. I do know that they are installed using Hog Nose Rings, which require a special pair of pliers. I will try and get Pictures taken by tomorrow. EMail me at Rays98@Cocmast.Net if you are interested in the Factory Take Offs.

I second a seat "cooler"!

I also always wondered about the headrests. The only time you would be able to rest your head is if you were sleeping.

I hate my seat. Uncomfortable as hell. I have no support from the lower back and up. I think it's too hard and again, I would LOVE some cooling.

IF I had the money I'd pay several grand for this. That would make my X perfect.
