Nope. same here. I know it may hurt some local owners who are franchised to citgo. but they also have the right as Americans to rebrand thier gas stations.
It won't matter one bit. Citgo will just sell its excess gas to all the other distributors because they will now be short on gas supply. The problem is that we use too much gas in this country for the refinery capacity we have.
...and if everyone stops buying from Citgo? It won't matter one bit. Jason
I think you are wrong, but that is not my point.
I have been very, very fortunate to have been born in America. It has given me opportunities and freedoms that cannot be had anywhere else on the planet. I am appreciative of these opportunities and freedoms and will not knowingly do anything that will cause them to be taken away.
Chavez has made his intentions clear, and how he feels about America, but he still wants our money. He is purchasing Iranian missles, attack submarines from Russia, and other armaments from our enemies. I would not sleep very well if I knew one of my dollars was used to purchase equipment that would damage our way of life, and I will not do it. It may not have any affect, it may be meaningless, but that is the way I feel, and I only have to please me. jd
All the Citgo station in my area are rebranding to Circle K.
Is it still Citgo with a new name or have all the stations been bought out by Circle K?
I have no idea.
Circle K probably bought the stores. They have purchased several different companies and are making changes. Circle K buys gasoline from several different refiners as to availability and costs.
Seven Eleven did use Citgo, but their contract expired and they did not renew as they intend to sell their own brand of gasoline. jd
