Flags for Thumperoo

Flags for Thumperoo
I have decided to order the boxing kangaroo flag for the front cornor of our project truck. You can blame Mecinoid for this - he found it for me.
We need a second flag to balance it out. The two flags will be displayed on the left and right cornor of the 'roo guard, or perhaps on the L/R cornors of the roll cage.
I will let you guys pick the second flag. We can have a regular American flag, or the California Bear Flag, or pehaps one of the "Don't Tread on Me" flags - any that you choose.
I would avoid the Rebel flag as so many counter-culture displays already use it, and, since there will be kids around the truck, any of the Pot leaf flags. If you will do an ebay search on flags you can get an idea of what is available.

Okay, I think "Thumper Roo" is a good title for the truck, but do we have to get so "AUssie"?
I mean, If the folks down under came and wrenched on it, etc...I could see payng a tribute to them...but heck, I've no affiliation with Australia, or the rest of the crowd. You really think we want to continue so far with that theme?

Since this is "Northern California" truck, how about Yosemite Sam? You can't get much more NorCal than Yosemite.
I like the 49ers, but some feel pretty loyal to the Raiders.
Oh boy, this is getting back to what we should name our chapter. Those threads went on forever.

Yosemite Sam! - I like it. We can also get mud flaps and the like. I found one decal place that I think will blow up the image below and make a hood decal

I think it would only be appropriate to have 1 California Bear flag so that people know WHERE we're from! Dontcha think?! We're gonna put all the effort into the truck and not get credit for it? Gotta take pride in our state!

I like this one because I have never seen it. Has the prominent Ford symbol (representing my #1 love of my life of course) and then the checkered flag giving it the racey feel. And best of all, its cheap! $13 and free shipping! Just puttin' that out there.

I like the California Bear Flag and Ford Flag with the checkering on it.
I like the Thumperoo Name and some sort of brush guard idea on it.
I also think that the Thumperoo Flag has it's place in the pits and shows the fighting spirit of our group imo. I still like the Calif Bear Flag and the Thumperoo Flag from time to time. But, perhaps it's too much for most. I like it !!!
Most likely we will have to put it to a vote. I believe Clint has veto power since it's titled to him. Rightfully so as far as I'm concerned.

Lots of other young people, they just are not interested in the same things. They are up for the more modern trucks.
And "old farts", while a common name, is somewhat insulting to the rest of us!

Clint - That is awefully kind of you to be so democratic with the Project Truck.
As far as the names for the Chapter. I've submitted my suggestions and plan on thinking up some more .... Something should stick.
Maybe - Wrenching Authorities, Shadetree Truckers/Fords, or something different like that???
