okay, bought 3 weeks ago there was a majior fire on Avenue P just north of inland steel at a trucking company.
Anwas I have been passing this building ever week on my way to work, and everyday I saw a mint green 1960 Ford 1ton with a white flatdeck that looked really good.
Anyways after this fire I didn't see the truck, but today I did. It sat outside everday for over a year but on the da of the fire it was right in the centre of the building that burned.
It's imistakable, The roof is poking up with its Mickey Mouse style signal lights.
It's gone, the block and cab would be expanded, It was a intense fire with explsions as I hear. maybe some frame/axle compents could be looked at but not worth the hastle of finding out who to buy from, ma get trapped in insurance tape.
When it gets crushed who knows mabe it will become a 2008 Ford Super duty.
Yeah I saw that truck. It was a sweet looking truck. It would of been nice to have here.
I also seen the big Bridge city tow truck got cindered there also. The one they use to tow semis with. Not much left of it also. I think it was a big mack.
I haven`t had a chance to see the shop yet.
It`s so hard to believe it`s gone after seeing it there for so many years, almost like a land mark of sorts.
It was such a run down building. Now I would think the city will probally try and build on the land like the houses they bought and leveled to build a new neighborhood there. They probally will get the land and put up an apartment building forlow income people.
