Well I finally got the invoice for my EGR spacer. It was $18.50 USD for the item and guess how much for the shipping.... $50 F*****N USD. I got quotes form other people for the same thing at $19. It better be on my door step in TWO days for that much. I had a pair of headlights shipped from California for $45 which is way bigger than a 5x5x2 spacer.

I've had good experience with www.americanmuscle.com. They have many performance parts for fords and are cheap for good quality parts. (FRPP, Motive, etc) They have free shipping in the US but to Canada they charge a little extra to ship but they pay all the customs and duty fees! It costs you nothing when it gets to your door.
Maybe they'll have what you need for any future parts needed.

I have been buying from the Old Car Centre in BC.
They handle parts for my old fifties Fords and even my model ''T''.
I like the free shipping and of course duty/brokerage/ect is included in their price list so what you see is what you pay.
I`ve never checked their prices closely but so far it seems ok.

I always ask for a shipping cost just this guy didn't check his e-mail till 3 days after. I didn't want to miss out on it so I bid in good faith.
Now to find some 24 lb injectors. They were stock on EFI 460's and 93 Cobras. A guy in Ontario has a set with a low bid and I'm awaiting shipping charges.
One of the things I like about my build is I can still go junkyard searching for parts. Some wreckers have "Buzz" words for $$$. For example saying Mustang, Lightning, Flathead mean more money but Explorer, F-250, Cougar, Crown Victoria are bargain bin specials.

You got the spacer off ebay. If that guy told you one price for shipping and charged you another. Put a mark on his rating. say what happened so others are warned. I heard of these horror stories.
The place Morris mention in BC I met the guy a number of years ago that owns that business. He started out as a trucker going to the states and old car enthusiast. He bought a warehouse just over the border and bought stuff in the states and and would bring it across when he had to truck down the states. Now he is doing quite well.
