If you get some high octane gas and dump it in the seat, while smoking, its the only burnout you'll ever see in that truck

Rev it up to about 3500 or more and dump it.

Just take a window washing fluid bottle with pump and install the lines over the rear tires, run a toogle switch so when you want to do a burn-out(why?), just "juice" the tires to break them loose, this puts on quite a show when the water/bleach or whatever turns to steam. Chuck P.

i have a 89 ford f150 with the 300 with automatic and it will do a burn out! several ways to do one. these trucks have plenty of power. 1 put it in neutral and rev it up then drop it. 2 leave it in gear and floor it. 3 put it in reverse and back up a little ways the ease it in to neutural then dirve and floor it. octane booster will help!

I used to have the same truck as you what I do is put it in 2nd get going about 15mph crank your wheels in some direction and floor it and hit your brakes at the same time it should light them right up or your common turning tire is the passenger pull to the side of the road on gravel or sod pop your clutch floor it and ride your brakes steer back on to the black top and the smoke should fly....I have a 87 now with the 300-6 and the 4 speed its the same way.

If anyone can answer this.... Isn't what he suggested bad for the engine? I'm not big on engines and stuff but i can tell you this... I have the same (1993 300 I6) truck and did that once or twice when i started driving it. I stopped because of two reasons. 1) my friends told me it was bad. and 2) it makes the most horrible sound when you do it. It sounds painfull... seriously... i wanna take care of my baby!

please let me know to what extent the damage could be done by doing this stunt?

Well, if just "punch it" and the tires break loose, all you're hurting are your tires. Now the other stuff (like a reverse-drop or a neutral-drop) can be hard on everything between the engine and the rear tires. (Do too many reverse drops in a front wheel drive car and you'll be sorry.) Basically, you're applying extra stress to places that already take alot of beating as it is; like universal joints and rear end gears not to mention your clutch or juice-box.

not trying to be rude but, get a posi rear, a v-8, and a brain.. anybody can do a burnout its all in the technique,i can smoke'em off pretty good myself,(i'll show you my tire reciepts) i have a 71 f100 sb 302 3spd. on the floor, im putting a posi in this spring cause #1 gotta have posi., #2 one tire burnouts are lame! the best way to do the burnout in my opinion is tach it up to about 3500rpm or so(nothing crazy now)let the clutch fly and then lightly(i said lightly)apply the brakes to hold the vehicle still (so you dont roll forward) if you do this right you can hold her there all day if you want to... now this doesnt work on front wheel drive cars but we aint talking fwd here.. good luck and dont let the nice officer catch you doing this(ha-ha)

Put your heel on the clutch and toe on the brake. Let off the clutch while still holding the brake and giving it gas. Thats the way that I thought everyone did it. Also works good when at the top of a hill at a stoplight so you dont roll back into the guy behind you. Practice makes perfect.

300 and a four speed, you should be able to break them free at will in first or second gear. As to why you want to do this intentionally......
On low traction situations, Ill often start in granny just to avoid spinning the tires. Don't believe the v-8 guys who think a 300 is a joke, just put in a call to clifford performance, spend a couple grand, and show the 302/351 guys whats up with the 3.98 " stroke in that puppy. TORQUE
