New motor 'run on'
I recently had my 300 in line 6 completley rebuilt as new.The problem I am having is when the motor is shut off the motor will often run in reverse for a second or two.I have tried putting it in gear when I turn it off but it still moves the truck backwards for a second or two .I rebuilt the carb before the rebuild, setoff by a blown head gasket,I run a petronix system in the distributor, new plug wires and plugs, timing is dead on 6 btdc,idle is at 600 and everything else is good as new.I'ts a 71 motor, any help is appreciated, oh yea,there are 500 miles on the motor.
