hard start when hot

both my truck and now my daily driver have developed a problem with hot starts. is this generally a ground problem, or should i be looking elsewhere. i am considereing just insulating the starters, cables to the starter and the batteries. the truck has been this way since i bought it and the chrysler has developed recently. thanks. Dan

What year vehicle? I would check the timing. Too far advanced will cause this problem.

Dave it is my 89 f250 and my 86 chrysler 5th ave. the ford, just got a carb, and hei conversion, i still havent set the timing so i will give it a try. thank you. Dan
