i want to ask FTE to help me id some parts that are not usually dealt with by a novice mech.(thatd be me) but without being able to post pics of them, how would FTE know what part i am asking about? i can't post pics here--is that right?
Have you uploaded the picture somewhere else such as photobucket? Once you upload the picture there, it is really easy to put it in your thread. If you have more questions... ask.
i am new to this group and want follow the rules and the rules say " you may not post attachments " which i would think to be pics. if in fact we can post pic in this thread, could i have just attached them like you do with e-mail. the pics are already in folders on my puter, would be easy to just grab them and attach.
If you upload them to a site such as photobucket (its free and easy) you put the image on their server so it isnt using up FTE space. If you look around at other threads, you will see that people post pics all the time.
took a look at photobucket - would the gallery section of FTE provide same service? then i could say " see my pics in gallery" i think i have seen that line in other threads.
yeah, you can do that as well. the galleries are usually designed for your Vehicle, but there is a checkmark in there somewhere to make it a tech gallery for posting pics for questions and stuff.
I just prefer photobucket since you can put high resolution pictures on there. If you upload it to FTE they shrink them down to save space, and can sometimes be hard to make out details.
