Hello everyone,I'm gonna run a ladder bar or 4-link on my 66'. Does anyone have a suggestion on which one to use, and is there any prints,plans or dimensions to fab for yourself.I have sources to fab them myself if feasible.My truck when done will not go to the strip or be daily driven if that helps,thanks alot

I would 4 link it for better articulation and if you build them your self try to make the bars as long as possible.
There are a bunch of books on setting up the various suspensions. Check out the major book store chains or even in motorhaven to see if they carry it. Also look in the galleries for other members that have done a 4 link system to see how they did theirs. Good suggestion on the article. It looks pretty well written. And at the very least, if you're thinking of building you own, the Milliken & Milliken book "Race Car Vehicle Dynamics" that it suggest is good. If you could find a 'book' written by Llance it's pretty good, but its more of a compilation of notes... it wasn't published by a large company. Race car engineering magazine also has some pretty good articles every once in a awhile, but they're usually super technical.
