what differential do I have?
I bought an extra differential for my E350 van with the V10.
I have used it for many years now and I got the itch to find out what it might have come out of.
It has 4.10 gears and it is limited slip. I noticed that the lugs are longer than the stock ones so I thought it might have been a dually rear end. It has disc brakes. I didn't know if it was a dana 60 or 70 or what so here are the numbers, perhaps you guys can help me. I called the Ford dealer but they aren't able to tell me.
4.10 XC25 AFB
606109-6-LS
It is a full float.
I guess its a dana 60 but thought I would ask. It came out of some Econoline, van or strip chassis I don't know, dually panel van maybe.
I use it when I tow all summer and then drop the whole thing out and put the 3.73 back in it when I am doing a lot of empty interstate driving and it only takes 3 hours to do the whole job
there are some other numbers that the yard I got it from had put on it and they are LVEV8328 I don't know if that is VIN# or what, but thought I would include it incase someone knows something I definately don't.
