TC Lock questions
1) What are the advantages and disadvantages of having this manual switch to lock the TC?
2) At what speed or RMP do you engage this switch?
3) Is there a certain speed or RPM that you don't want to go under while the TC is locked?
Thanks for any help you guys can provide.

1. Locking up the converter sooner does several things, helps keep tranny temps down by locking everything up no slip no heat. Another advantage is fuel economy and another is keeps the tranny from shifting down while going up hills, use that one with a little common sense.
2. I usually lock mine around 40ish, lift off the throttle then lock the converter.
3. You never want to lock the converter while in 1st gear, and under 1500RPMs. Not enough rpm for the tranny pump!
4. NEVER lock your T/C while at full or even 1/2 throttle, If you lock it under a slight pedal you will see what I mean.
Hope this helps
Rich
