Did you know?
I never liked silver - in the old days (before clearcoats), silver would "wearout" faster. I don't think that the case today, but it's one of those old stigmas that I can't seem to shake off.
Nice truck though...

You can't see it but more old F-150 behind the Excursion is also silver.
It's a good color for Hawaii. It is also nice to know that most folks in the US followed my lead.
That's kinda the joke I was drivin' at.

Theres a fine line between trendsetter and crowd follower! I have a black one, but it only looks sweet when it is freshly waxed! Imagine red...they say you are more likely to get pulled over in a red vehicle, and a red EX would stick out just a bit!
I manage a very large parking garage, and i've noticed that about 90%+ of the people that lose their parking ticket and hold up the lines while we get all their info to make sure they arent stealing a car tend to drive silver cars. I noticed this about 6 months ago and have been keeping an eye on it, sure enough almost every one of these clowns are driving a silver car. Way too many to be a coincidence in my book, i think people in silver cars are just bad at holding onto their parking tickets! Something in the brain that attracts them to silver vehicles must be tied to what makes them lose their tickets.
Sorry about my lil rant, but i hate having to go through the whole lost ticket process as i have to see their DL and insurance or registration to make sure its their vehicle. Usually when theres about 30 cars honking behind them cause they are sick of waiting in line.
