Bill, I suggest that you get a good 1" wide measuring tape and give the ol 04 a measure. Unless it is a Honda, less than 19' is short.
My son just went through the riggors of finding a house that had a garage long enough to house his 04 large cab. I don't recall what the proper term for his is (extended, king, etc) it has the suicide doors, but he passed over a lot of houses because most of the 20ft. garages wouldn't hold his truck.
It got to be a joke, but the first thing that he or his realtor would do was measure the garage before even looking in the house. If the truck wouldn't fit he went to the next one on the list.

PS: I just went out and measured my 66 long bed. It is about 17' 6'' long, laying the tape on the ground beside of the truck.
OK Guys dont beat me down, I was only kidding, I dont know where you get the "Give the ol 04 a measure" AM i missing somthing? Because whys75 Question was about a 66 f100 long bed. I went out and did the same as you, Put the tape on the ground from end to end and came up with just over 18ft, Just trying to help by ansering his Question the best i can By mesuring my 66 f100. Thanks, It seems I am close anyway. And I would rather error on the side of being to long.

Uh huh...I don't need a measuring tape. I based my last three new truck purchases on their overall length. All three of them were 224 inches, according to the sales brochures and spec sheets. Take a gander at Ford's webpage for the o/a length of a 2007 F150 CC. See if it tells you many feet 224 inches is.
HUH? Your son has a truck with suicide doors? Only two trucks are made that way, both are extended cabs. One is a 2007 Chebbie, t'other is a 2004/2007 Titan. Your son drives a Chebbie?
btw, the 2004/2007 Titan KC or CC is exactly 224" long, the same length as the Ford CC. Dunno what the length of the Chebbie is.
I guessed on the 1965 F100 length. At least I was closer than my namesake Bill W was.

Thanks Dustin, That is what I was thinking. My small cab 66 has a 8ft. bed. My son's 04 F150 with the Blue Oval in the grill has the 6.5ft. You have to open the front doors before you can open the rears and they open from the middle. We always thought it was a Ford truck since he bought it new at a Ford dealer.

My bad. I had no idea that the newer Super Cabs doors opened this way. I went to buy one in 2004, but the seat mounted seat belts were uncomfortable to reach and wear. That was a deal breaker, so I bought the CC instead.
