What is the trick when removing the factory radio and re-installing it?I am talking about the dial indicator side.Does the whole shaft come out with the face.I know you have to be careful or you will bend the plastic gear teeth so the dial will not work correctly.Has anyone had this problem?Thanks,Russell

I removed my '66 radio last summer. The best way I found was after taking off the chrome front piece, I coated the plastic gear and parts with a combination of white lithieum grease and silicon spray. Be VERY carefull when removing this! I mamaged to remove the radio by doing this without breaking the part. Assembly should be just as careful. Good Luck!
