NO Kris, It's not what your thinking get your mind out of the gutter JK. What rpm do people with the ZF6 rev at 70mph, 65 mph ect... Also include rear-end ratio, and engine. Thanks
Yea your right Beerstalker. I think a better question is what is the ratio of the overdrive gear in the ZF6? It sounds like it's almost the same as the 4r100 .72 ish if I remember. I knw that it has the granny gear, but I would hope that the od is a little taller as well.
I have an early 99 CC with 7.3 PSD. I have the stock tire size - 265-75 R16, and 3.73 rear end. 6 spd ZF6, I run about 2200 at 70 MPH. 2000 RPM gives me 65 exactly by my GPS.
2007 SRW F350, 3.73 with 18" Conti's (2WD version (Yes they are different))
1950RPM = 110 Km/h = 68 MPH
Yes the ZF6 OD is .72:1
And here I thought I was the only one who set my cruise at 68.
02 f350 cc lwb srw 3.73 1900 rmp @ 68, 2000 @ 70 stock 265/75/16 (pretty sure that's the right size) Avg 19.85 mpg running empty and staying below 2000 rpm's with ranch hand front & rear bumper, steel tool box with about 400 pounds of tools.
