GT-40 Head recognition

I'm looking at buying a truck that the buyer has GT-40 cast iron heads. I know there is a way to identify them but I can't remember what it was.

Do any of you recall how to id them?

The Gt-40's should have 2 vertical bars cast into the end of the head the Gt-40P heads will have 3 bars. If you're so inclined to pull the valve covers they will say Gt40 in one of the corners.

Not exactly, GT-40s have 3 vertical bars, GT-40Ps have 4 vertical bars.

Go here for more information than you can stand.
