6.0 questions
I just bought a 04 XLT 4x2 with the 6.0; What is the stock hp & torque. My truck has the hypertech inline power tuning module part number 41042. It clasimes gains of 56 hp 84tq on setting 1 -82hp 123tq on setting 2 & 100hp & 176 tq on setting 3. Is this a decent tuner. I've tried the number 2 setting & it makes the truck haul butt, It flies through the gears like a sports car. I have a SCT programmer from my old truck. I'm thinking of having it reflashed to go with my new truck. I also have thought of using the SCT on my Grand Marquis. I read the Hypertech is one of the safest diesel tuners on the market. I don't plan to race my F250 so I may stick with the tuning it has now. Whats everyones opinion of the Hypertech tuning?
