Head Bolts
I will be replacing my head gaskets soon because of oil leaking off the back side of the heads. Is it required/recomended that the head bolts be replaced?
93 7.3 IDI 150,000 miles new injectors and pump, does not burn oil just leaks it.
Modified 3 4" snorkle intake 4" exhaust.
I will be doing a WVO conversion at the same time

Not on the 7.3........ just check them for distorted threads and measure the length. Do use a bottoming tap and air to clean the threads in the block.......Use light motor oil on threads when reinstalling. Check and do the correct torque values and sequences/patterns.......
