Just a quick note to introduce myself. Been driving Ford trucks a long time but I can tell by lurking a while that I do not even come close to possessing the knowledge of some of them members on this forum. Seems like the place to get some Ford 'science'.
Recently aquired a 02 F350 4X4 crewcab and it being my first diesel, I came looking for some answers. I hope my questions are not too stupid - I do try to search before I post.
Welcome and congrats on being a long time Ford owner, me too.
Also congrats on your first diesel crew, a very sweet and comfortable ride.
You are correct in that there is a lot of good Ford truck knowledge here on FTE.
No questions are too stupid, just the ones you don`t ask but it is a good idea to do a search first.

Thanks for coming on board, see you in the forums.
Thanks for the warm welcome. Well I found the answer to my first question by searching (for about an hour). I'm sure there will be more soon enough.
I was trying to see what the gearing ratio was in my truck and found where someone had posted the paint codes. Very cool. 3.73
You're right, these are some sweet rides! I just gave my recently turned 16 yro my '95 F150 super, (190K and still trouble-free). That is why I had to get another truck.
A lot of people get the 'AR' mixed up, it is Arkansas. Ford is the dominant truck around here too.
