Help with air cleaner

it is more than likely from a car. I think just the truck carbs had the flange on them. It will probly be hard to pinpoint the exact year and model. Ive seen cleaners on 50, 51, &52 model trucks and they were all different.

FYI: The 1948/56 Ford Truck Parts Catalog is available from hipoparts.com on a CD. The price is less than $25.00. Since the trucks from this time period have less models, and are less complicated than the newer stuff, using this catalog is easy. The illustrations are clear, and easier to read than in some old dirty shop manual, plus you get all the part numbers.
Everyone that owns one of these trucks should have this parts catalog.
