Which Turbo to upgrade to??

Hey Guys...

My buddy has a 2000 Ex with 4" exhaust, cold air intake, DP tuner chip, gauges..... all the usual mods...

He is planning a turbo upgrade since his has become unhappy.... he will also be doing dual HPOPs and BDP injectors shortly after...

We were talking, but neither of us have researched aftermarket turbos that much...

We were talking between the bag bad woof and the Garrett ball bearing turbo.

What do you guys think?? Will take all the feedback I can...

Thanks Guys!!!
Bob

A TN 67 with a 1.0 a/r... but which injectors?
The consensus says laggy but the right ones will spool an H2E.

Yes, the type of injectors he is going with determines the turbo. If it's just a stage one mild injector, the Garrett BB will work well, or the Turbonetics 1.0.

Hey Guys,

Have been REALLY busy, sorry I have not checked up on this topic...

I believe he is planning the Beans Diesel Stage II single shot injectors and Stealth dual HPOPs

This info probably would have helped in the first place

Thanks
Bob

Stage twos... a H2E would work well, or if you wanted ultimate, the BWD towing twins, compound turbo setup. ahhhhhhh

Its not. The stock turbo is a Garret GTP38. The ball bearing version is very similar, GTP38R.
