Cool Fuel Injectors

Well, my truck died AGAIN! Ford has it now and found out the #6 fuel injector disentegrated. The techs can't find all the parts. This is the 3rd time this has happened. What could be causing this? What can be done to protect from this happening in the future?

My guess would be low fuel pressure caused by restricted fuel filters or a fuel pump issue. Only way to know for sure would be to monitor fuel pressure.
