Wel.... That was a nice little storm that blew through. I got lucky and didn't lose anything, but I had three neighbors loose trees. Anyone else loose anything?
The storm on Wednesday night (in the Ogden area) packed a much bigger punch than the Thursday night storm. It rained cats and dogs with thunder & lighting... Our dog hid in the basement! No trees down or damage although the power did go out for a brief time-
Funny how the storms can be really bad in an area and just a few miles away....not much to talk about.
We got a bit of wind in the West Valley area, some nice, steady rain for a few hours, thats about it.
Coming home from south eastern Ut last week, I hit 2 cloud bursts that really dumped the water. It made no difference if the wipers were on or not. They only lasted 4-5 miles and then dry road. There was no wind with either one.
At my parents home by Cedar City it rained buckets all afternoon a couple weeks ago. The southern and south eastern parts of Utah sure need a lot more rain. Needs to be long, steady rain though.......not the barrels of water all at once, someone opened the flood gates type of rain they have gotten.
