Yeh. I didn't know where else to post this. My birthday is coming up on the 2nd, and I still don't know what I want. Yeh, way to wait until the last minute. I'm going to be 17. I really want something for my truck. It's a 2002 Ford F150 Extended Cab. It's my baby. Hah. Anyway, do you guys have any ideas? I was thinking of getting a system put in it, but I've drifted away from rap and gone back to my roots. Country doesn't really hit the speakers. It's still a possibility, but I don't know. I was wondering what else you guys thought would be cool. As for a price limit, I don't know, probably under $200. Thanks.
Country/Southern Rock goes hand in hand with a loud stereo. At football games, people always gather around to hear a little Skynard cranked up. I got a 500 watt (no sub, I cant stand subs) Sony system for about $250 bucks
Exhaust is always a great present, and cat back systems aren't too much.
I don't know. I was thinking about an exhaust system or maybe some window tint. I know tint won't cost that much, plus I could probably just buy it myself.
What would be cheaper, an exhaust system or a speaker system? I'd ask for the more expensive one, as long as it's not too expensive, and then buy the cheaper one later with my own money.
Which one could I get better quality from, for around $200? Oh, dude, buckeyesteeler7. Let me say this, your name kicks ***. I don't even think I need to give a reason why.
I'm leaning towards exhaust, actually I'm 99% sure that's what I want. So then how much would a good speaker system cost? I'm asking so I know how much to save up, I want both by the time school starts at the end of August. I know it may be tough to get all this done by then, but it's worth a shot.
Alright, I guess I'll provide a little update. Today's my birthday, and I ended up getting dual exhausts. It's incredible, man. It sounds like a beast. I love it. I also got some of the truck detailed, like some of the scratches taken out. I'm working on getting the system now. I think I have enough money to get a decent one. Hopefully I can get it before school starts.
