where to get vacuum
I am currently in the process of changing my 65 f-100 over to disc brakes. I have the donor parts from a 73 f-100 I have it all together, but I found out that I will need the brake line brackets on the side of the frame from the 73 since the brackets on the 65 was to short. My question is when I hook up the master cylinder booster comb. where am I going to get my vacuum from.

First and formost, welcome to FTE. The pic's in my gallery under 'mechanical throttle linkage' is how I hooked up the vacuum for the booster. The engine is a 302, but also have another 65 with the 390 and vac. is hooked at same location.

What dave is saying with his excelent pictures is you need to hook the hose to any of the larger vacuum ports in the intake manifold. You may have to remove a pipe plug and install a fitting. Oh yah Welcome to FTE. Rich.
