Instrument Cluster Interchangeability
A friend of mine has an 04 SD PS 6.0 Lariat that he damaged the cluster on in a crash.
We found a Lariat SD PS 6.0 cluster from on 06 that looks the same. Will they interchange ok?
Looks like they might be different part numbers but is it just small cosmetic things or is it functional?
Thanks

IIRC they are not interchangeable as the information display is different and the computer programming is different.

Will it work in an '07? I have the XLT but always liked the white gauges of the lariat.

It will work in an 05-07 Lariat or King Ranch, the XL and XLT do not have the correct programing or buttons on the dash to make it work correctly.

Thanks for the tip, the other problem I have been finding is that the instrument clusters I have found are for the Automatics, and I have the 6 speed, so its not quite right. Thanks anyway though!
