I get a single clunk lots of times when turning sharply(to the left) and it has started to clunks and feels loose on the left front when going over potholes and railroad crossings.
After reading some posts it seems to be the radius arm bushings. I checked and had the front end checked and everything else seems fine.
Also once ive driven it a mile or so and come to a stop , the truck lurches forward with a pop/clunk as it stops. Then when i give it some gas it pops back.
Its been like this for a year getting progressivly worse and is worse it hot weather.
Could the raduis arm bushings be doing this too? Anything else I should check?
I had the exact same problem, and it's funny because I got all of the same responses. I also had recently replaced ball joints and wheel bearings, and the problem went away at some point, I don't know where it went or why it went, but I know my radius arm bushings are good. The problem just disappeared.
