Help with dash.

I recently bought a 1981 ford F100 ranger. Sadly, even though it has 116,000 orginal miles the dash is worn down to white plastic. Could it be possible to put a dash out of a 1992-1996 f150 I know that the instrument cluster has the same connector. Could it be done?

Even if the connectors are the same, I'd bet the pinout is different. Check with coverlay, they should have molded dash cover to fit your style.

Try lmctruck.com. Most the parts for 81-86 are interchangeable.
