Removing Door Panels?

Maybe someone can help... I searched the forum for the topic, but could not come up with any results.

Since we took the truck off-roading during our recent trip in MI there's something rattling in the driver's side rear door. It's either something within the door or it might be even the door lock/latch... whatever it is, it is annoying!

Two questions:

How do you remove the door panel on the X without breaking any platic latches or clips?

How would one adjust the door lock/latch mechanism for the door to shut tighter?

andy, In the top of this fourm there is a tech folder. There are instructions on how to fix the door locks and it shows you step by stet to remove the door panel. If you have anny more questions pm me,

Is that the rattling I hear in my drivers door? It only does it when my window is down.

Mine is right the opposite way... it rattles when it's up and does not rattle when it's down...

????

Is it possible that the door is just like rattling on the hinges? I've taken my X off road, and it just seems like the whole door kind of shudders. I haven't done it, but I've heard of people on here who have put small plastic tubing inside the door seals so they are tighter. Apparently, that gets rid of the door shudder because there is less play in and the latch 'latches' tighter.

Just an idea

Thanks for the reply... I think that is exactly what's the matter with the driver's side rear door... it seem to be the latch...

What kind of small plastic tubing are we talking about? Where would I get some?

Any idea?
