help an some advice 429 build up

working on fresh rebuild of 69 429 like some advice on cam choice for it.its daily driver 4000 lb car 700 to 900cfm carb or holley pro-jection and if pro jection is a good choice. msd 6al. headers. c6 auto. 3.0 rear gears .also for this build up.use the stock heads and port or go to aluminuim. looking to get the most horse power and torque out of it in the street driving range idle-5500 range

You probably don't want to hear it, but I'd find a 460 crank and the proper pistons. The cranks are very cheap and you need new pistons anyway for a proper build so it shouldn't be that expensive. From there, I'll tell you the combo that my Dad and I put together from an old Super Ford magazine, pulled 430hp at 5000rpm and 530lb-ft at 3900. 750cfm Holley, Performer intake, 9.5:1 pistons, DOVE heads (you have them already) with 2.19/1.75 valves and thermactor bump removed. .518/.513 272/284 duration cam and 1 7/8" headers. Should be pretty close to what you want for your application, and it's pretty inexpensive to build.
