Best Fitting Headers 84 302 2wd

I have the engine and tranny pulled doing a complete rebuild right now. When I reassemble/install I plan on adding Edelbrock intake, 4Barrel carb, small performance cam, and set of headers. Any experience good or bad with certain brand headers? I'm looking for the best fitting and least likely to leak.

Ive had really good luck with the Hooker Super Comps! Good fitting headers, just requires at least on my truck a little firewall denting to get them to slide in. I have a 84 ford f250 351 windsor. So i guess pretty similair. Be sure when you put headers on to Check the bolts after initial install and tighthen them up. I had to tighten them every day for a week before they stopped loosening up. Also at least ive seen no headers just slides in. On my passenger side went right in, drivers side took a few hours to put in. But I didnt have the motor out. Check my gallery for a few pics of the headers.

You can never go wrong with a set of Hookers! I think they are the best headers hands down. Their lower end headers (Competition) are better built than the best headers from most other manufacturers and are reasonably priced (if they make Comps for your application), if you have to go with super-comps...the best bar none!
