Engine confusion
Hey guys. The truck n question is a 61 f500. It has an inline 6. The metal tag on the door says 160hp @3600hp. I did the vin decoder and it said it was a 223CI w/114hp@3600 rpm. I just got the truck and the motor is locked. I also know since the exhast is on the drivers side it is a 223 or 262. My question is why would the vin and door tag contradict? Which is mostlikley the correct engine?Where is there some #'s on the block so I can research that. Thanks.
