You can start with the sight sponsor Blue Oval Truck Parts Right under the blue bar on the right. As far as pics I have some in my gallery. Acouple other galleries to look at would be garbz and truckfarmer. Ther was a real nice 61 in the pics somebody took at the F100 nationals. Look for a thread titled 2007 nationals pics in the 48-60 forum. You'll like Garbz he works for Industrial Chassis and is building a unibody crew cab with suicide doors. Rich.

Unless intend installing yourself, had windshield replaced and shop that installed was able to locate one cheaper than what it would have cost me thru the Ford truck parts supplier.

Here are couple more supplier's. I prefer using those who sponsor FTE when ever possible, but sometimes they do not carry part needed. Also, suggest requesting free catalog if offered. Some able to download catalog, but I prefer hardcopy. Finally, I usuallly will go to part supplier's online catalog and verify they carry the item then make tele contact to make sure item is in stock, if not, then I go to the next part supplier. Sometime their supplier's are just as slow as they are, have had projects on hold for weeks waiting for a part.

Guys he is chopping the truck. hence will need a custom windshield if he does it like a chebby.

Or if he does it the four piece method with 2 roofs he can cut down a stocker.

Rich: Had to sell the uni supercrew to finance my way out west, Guy i sold it to says he will finish it....Have a new project in the works a 63 long bed uni that we will go wild on with the suspension. 410 FE tri power with a tremac TKO500 trans. and about three inches off the pavement. No bags involved just sound suspension. Should manage to keep up to Steves 63 Uni around the curves....

Since I have the attention of the darksiders for a minute I wanna bounce a chop idea off you guys. I'm thinking about cutting my top at the cab top to bed front seam. cutting so the bodyline across the back blends into the front bed rail about a 2 1/2" chop. The tough part will be the windshield. If I split the A pillar and put the bottom of the windshield at the front of the cowl it brings the top of the glass down 2 1/2". I can then trim the back of the hood for wipers and tilt the nose. Do you think a wide A pillar would look goofy. I've "photochopped" it and like the look of the windshield laid back.

Biggest issue is the lay back. Dang A pillars move in two directions at once so do the B pillars. hence hte four cut trim using 2 roofs.

If you do it like that Rich you will need the windshield first and build the top to fit. and a custom windshiled will run about 4 grand....

Allways wanted to do one but never had the stones.....LOL
