Trim Piece Removal
I am needing to know how to remove a certain piece of the chrome trim. The piece(s) I am concerned about is circled in red in the pic. I removed all the rest of the trim but unsure at the moment how this piece comes off.
It's the piece right in front of the doors.

Thanks,
Mike
It is attached with nuts from inside the cowl. There are vents in the kick panel that need to be removed to access this area. The ones that are worked by the dash pulls that say AIR.
Once you remove the vent you can reach up inside and remove the capture nuts.
Good time to also clean out the fourty years of junk that accumulated in the lower cowl.

Edit, My bad thought it was a 64...its a 65 or 66. open the triangular vent on the drivers and passenger side kick panel and reach up inside to the cowl. this will get you there on each side....the cowl cleanout also is recommended....
