If you didn't get some kind of overboost protection in the MAP line, you'll set a code and get the SES at ~23psi. At 25psi, the PCM will defuel the engine. The other common reason is the HPOP can't keep up, so you get a low oil pressure code. But, if the SES never goes out, it's the overboost. If it comes on then goes back off after 2 or 3 minutes, it's the HPOP.
I put the ITP Overboost Annihilator on, so I only see the HPOP codes...
Another satisfied customer. It will put that silly grin on your face almost every time you start the truck now. I know it does for me, and it's been 10 or 11 days. It really makes that Powerstroke Swagger get bad though. (not that it's a bad thing in my opinion).
