Thumbs up -My Weekend Project-

Well this weekend since i had money and my truck has been running hot for about 2 months , i thought well i will fix it. So i put a new thermostat in , a new water pump on , and a new water outlet thang that goes on top of the thermostat , and painted my motor Grabber Green . It turned out pretty good , and it dont run hot anymore. When i get the truck im tryin to buy right now , im gonna pull the motor out of my 77 and rebuild it and bore it , rebuild my transmission, and put some gears in my front & rearend, and paint my truck.

Here's a pic of the freshly painted motor.

Where my sunglasses ?

I didn't go to that extreme back in 1990.

I just did the valve covers & oil pan.

theres my brothers 360 thats bored .040 over in his 69 f100 , we painted it to this weekend , but it has fresh rebuild and cam and alot of other crap. It looks a whole lot better than mine i will admit that , but he aint got alot of stuff under the hood like i do , so it makes it look a little better. but when i repaint mine , its gonna be blue like his.

are u pulling the engine to repaint it?? if not be sure to tape off everything for the nice neat look and so you dont get over-spray on the stuff you dont want to paint.

im gonna paint my truck when i got the motor out , so i can paint the firewall etc. the same color has my truck , and i will tape it off also .... this is just a quick paint job , i wasnt tryin to make it look perfect. But when i paint my motor when i rebuild it , im just gonna paint the valave covers & block , everthang else will be new aluminum stuff ....
