new problem cropping up?

i have my new ip and injectors on order just waiting for the arrival, but i seem to be having a new problem,as my pump is about wore out i can not restart my truck after it is warmed up (have to wait hours for it cool off then restarts on first crank, main reason for new pump)anyway i leave it idling if i need to stop off somewhere, saturday and sunday both after driving the truck about 80 miles home from work i left it iding while i went and changed fot a fishing trip, backed out of the drive and as soon as i shifted into drive from reverse the engine died, just like i turned the key off, same deal sunday after the truck ran awhile and after backing up shifting into drive the engine dies, both times i had to wait till the next morning to restart it.backing out in the morings when the motors still cold it runs fines, anybody have any thoughts? thanks for any help

Shut off solenoid could be the problem. You can change this yourself. You don't have to replace the pump for that but it sounds like you have other problems. They are easy to replace.
