Hey everybody!!! Hey guys i was just wondering if you guys wouldn't mind answering a question for me?? I just ordered an injection pump from usdiselparts.com and i think i might have made the wrong choice?!?!? I have been looking for along time deciding which one to buy and they were the only ones to have a reman pump versus a rebuilt pump that i could find. Well i just stumbled across dps diesel, and i think that they might have a better one but its to late!! Has anybody ever bought anything from usdieselparts.com? they come with a one year warranty so that was a plus I thought and i also had them turn up the fuel delivery from their factory in Montana and they still cover it!! It should be here this week. I have a ATS turbine upgrade with the 3" downpipe to a full 4" exhaust, a custom made intake and brand new injectors, do you guys think it was smart to have the fuel turned up? Let me know what you guys think, Thank you!!!
I just bought my Injection pump from usdiesel. IP # DB2-5070. I think my pump might be overfueling. Installed it a few weeks ago and now lots and lots of black smoke and fuel mileage has went down. Have also installed g code injectors. I Have talked to the at usdiesel a few times. Seem really good to deal with. I even sent my core back with some parts on it I needed For my E40D hook up. Called them and found my pump and sent the stuff out that day. I Know many people here that do all there diesel work there. I may have to send my pump back for adjustment.
So are they going to adjust it for you without hassel? my injector are4 also brandnew "G" code and i have had no issues with them i was thinking of going with the DPS stage one injectors but i am really satified with mine right now You pretty much have my excact truck and i also wish i had 3.55 gears it would do so much better on the interstate!!
A stock exhaust can send the EGT temps through the roof with even stock fueling rates.
Turning the fuel up can cause damage before you know it without a pyrometer.
well i have a pyrometer on its way i ordered it the same time i ordered my ip we will see how she runs in about a week i dont think i will have to much to worry about it is only being tuned up 10% from 200 to 220
