Tranny swap
I have a 1976 f-150 with a NP435 original in it, with 289v8(with 351 heads) that came out of a 1967 Mustang.
Needless to say its alittle hard on gas 10 to 11 MPG!!!
My uncle has a 1989 f150 with an overdrive manual in it with a 300 6cylinder.
(By the way originally my truck had a 300 6cyl in it but some ******** before i got it used white silcone FOR HOUSES for a gasket for the oil pan. It got sucked up into the oil pump and blew it up!! well that's enough history)
Anyway my question will the overdrive fit my truck. The input shaft so could use my old bell housing
