83' no power when cold
Need some help. My 83' Bronco with 300 engine, C-6 auto, 107,000 original miles; is low on power when cold. After it is completely warmed up it runs fine. I have a new carb. new plugs, cap, rotor, filters and vacuum lines all are new. It has a non- feedback carb. Have new 180 thermostat. I have no emission laws where I live. No cat converter, and did away with some of the old plastic vacuum lines and replaced some with rubber lines. I cannot figure out why it will not have much power at low temperatures, usually fords run great when cold or warmed up. Thanks for any help.

My 82 with the 300 is the same in the mornings. I've got a 160 themostat. I've always just got out there and let her warm up, its better for the motor anyway to warm up before driving. Only takes her about five min,.
