Is it this thing? It sure feels like metal to me.

Thats the spot, sorry I thought it was rubber. That is where my gauges are sent through, and sealed with silicone. Let me go take another quick look. I think they are run just to the side of that plate through the seal. Some others may want to chime in as to where thiers are run.

Nope, mine are straight through the middle of that plate, in between the two rivets that are there. Then sealed with silicone.

I think I can take it off and run it through the seal material and fix it back up with MR. silicone.

It will not seperate and when I get that plate off I'm not sure I can get it back tight without hurting the wire running through there.

That's the spot where the stick trucks have the clutch master mounted..Mine is a metal plug...I just drilled it and used grommets for my Trans temp & Pyrometer gauge senders/wires.. I'm told you can remove it,dill hole, install grommets, & then re-install...I just drilled mine in place..being careful of wiring..

I've got all the heater hoses and my big fancy brass T installed. I also made me a big hole for the temp gauge sender and wiring to go through. Y'all are going to die laughing when I post a pic of this nice big hole. I obviously have to fix air tight and shug everything up. Also, I'm going to try and use the other port by the stat that y'all recommended. It takes a Allen head to come out. Of course I don't hve the right size and I will need to buy some more extensions to be able to get to it. Is it just up to me how I arrange the wiring from sender all the way back to the firewall? A lot of zip ties will be needed probably?
