Engine Stand

I baught a new engine stand yesterday, rated for 1000 pounds. Picking up a 400m out of an old farm truck this afternoon. Anybody have an idea what that motor might weigh complete?
I really don't think it would weigh 1000 pounds would it? The people are parting out this truck. 79 F150 reg cab, long bed, body badly beeten by "Jersy Bulls" not much left there. It is a 4x4, not sure what tranny, say transfer case is good.

You boy's were right. Got the new/old motor home late yesterday. Went to the big town of Niangua Mo. Bought new and had been a farm truck since then. Was hoping to get a couple other things from the truck. But they're were right. The body is shot, Jersey Bulls, beat the he77 out of that thing.

Found a websight that gave engine weights. Rated that 400m about 600 pounds, fully clothed.
