Pete I did the same thing - used B-quiet like you had then the v-comp mat at the front near the firewall. Everywhere else I did 2 layers !!! . man that was a LOT of work !!!
Dogg gone yah pete. You beat me to it. I have all the material to do mine also. I ordered 200 sq-ft in Jan. Well I did all the doors and right above the Turbo in the engine bay. I just haven't had the time to finish the rest of the cab. You did a great job Pete! 6hrs isn't bad. Maybe this weekend.I'll tackel it. I've just been having eratic idle issues right now, and I can't figure it out. It is my priority right now. OH! before I forget. Remember 3-4 months ago we talked about this in a thread. Well, incase you forgot the Headliner cannot be removed from the cab. You have to work around it once you drop it. If you try to remove it you will ruin it. The only way to remove it from the cab, is to remove your rear window and slide it out thru there. Just a reminder. Because if you bend it, to remove it thru a door, it'll crease and never be the same.
Anyhow Great Job again. Country

Some highly critical information there, Country. Thanks.
thanks for props guys, i was out for a while, busy time for me, and i havent follow to much here, glad to be back,
and what i have to say after BTS trip, all that work paid off for SURE, worth 200$ and few hours for sure,
let me know if you have more questions about the install
Thanks so much for bringing this up.. I searched forever last night trying to find this post, hoping i could and never did. I went ahead and bought 100 ft2 of the B-quiet Ultimate. Having everything out will make installing the audio system alot easier. How much did you use Pete, and did you do the doors?
yeep Kris i did both doors, i used about 90 sq/ft and i did all of it except celling, i double up on floor and back wall,
and yes thats a good idea to run the wires and put the speakers at the same time,
good luck bro, let me know if you need help, and keep me posted on the other stuff

You'll want to use a cleaner to make sure the metal is nice & clean. I'd recommend Acetone since it flashes off and will leave no residue. Be sure your in a well ventilated area.
It makes all the difference. Your going to be installing a dampening mat which will dampen vibrations in the metal. If you adhere your mat to dirt then you will not be dampening the metal vibrations since the mat will be adhered to dirt and the metal will continue to vibrate.

i just used regular cleaner, didnt go out of my way to clean it perfect, but i vacum it up, wiped it with windex and that was it, if you have what i used, Ultimate B-quiet, than this stuff sticks to everything!!!!, damn you have to plan it ahead before somthing sticks where it shouldn't
but like F350-6 said im sure alcohol, or acetone would help clean it up better,
