Excursion Meet..When/Where..Cast your Vote!

Alright guys, we're in July so let's get this thing rolling and see if we can get a meet together.

I'm running dangerously low on money so I might actually not make it but regardless, I think there should be a meeting so cast your vote and let's see if we can narrow it down.

So, post WHERE you want to meet.

WHEN and WHY. I mean, what's there to do in the area. Is there something going on like the Jamboree somebody mentioned or are we just going to the local strip clubs? Mind you, never been to one but I ain't driving to Ohio for some chicken breast!

Alright, step right up and cast your vote.

George in NC

where: ELK POINT ALBERTA CANADA

when: AUGUST 2007

why: A) fuel is cheaper in Canada
B) it would be fun to see 40 plus American Excursions on main street
C) we got great local camping, hotels, resturants, fishing, tourist attractions, etc.
D) everybody should see at least a small part of Canada once in their life
E) awesome places like Jasper, Banff, Lake Louise, and Canmore are within 4 to 6 hours driving
F) lots of cows which equals lots of steak for a BBQ
G) real beer for those inclined real Coca Cola for those not

I doubt the main herd is gonna wanna drive to Canada but hey, I'm up for it. I wonder how many hours from NC? It hurts my as* just thinking about it and for those that HAVE followed my posts, remember, I HATE the seats in the X!

I do wanna see Canada though and if I ever get money, I might even move up there.

Hey Western, in the near future, keep an eye out for CHEAP land for me will ya.

Somewhere cold and dry, especially in the summers. I want a good bit of land and preferrably surrounded by goverment land so I don't have any neighbors.

I think something central to where most of the people on the map are. That seemed to be indiana maybe? Peronally i still like chicago cause its a world class city with everything you can possibly imagine to do. Heck you can jump out of a plane and skydive if you want, you name it theres a pretty darn good chance you can do it here. We even have a hige lake and beaches. Not to mention some great strip joints.

Like I said, I started this so I'll go wherever the majority takes me unless I run out of money before and I'm dangerously low but location doesn't matter to ME.

Indiana or Chicago it is for you.

ARE YOU POSITIVE YOU WANT LAND IN THE NORTH WEST TERRITORIES ???? I think it would be ideal ---- cold dry SHORT summers; lots of land; the Inuit would be your neighbors and ; if you got bored ; you could dig for diamonds; oil or natural gas. Watch out though it really snows in the winter !!!!

I think so. I lived close to the arctic circle for four years and it didn't phase me a bit but mind you, I'm getting a little bit sissyish (can you say that? in my old days but still, I rather have cold winters than hot and humid summers and I can't stand it here. Bottom line, I can't go outside my house in the summer because of mosquitoes and heat.

I'm afraid thought that the north is gonna be full of bloodsuckers?

Where on the map are north west territories and do you have any idea what kind of prices per acre? I'd love to be on a river or something and do some fishing

My current dogs don't like the cold but I'll get them clothes or something

Oops, found it.

That's Alaska dammit. I hear the mosquitoes are the size of humming birds up there. Shiit, they'll probably suck you dry with one go..

Well, like I said, I've lived that far north but not sure if that would work. I'm thinking somewhere where it's semi close to civilization so I can go to the movies every so often

UMMMM we tend to milk the black and white ones and eat the brown ones and we only hit them with cars if we've had to much beer ---- the rest of the time we shoot 'em; makes 'em easier to skin and butcher

"makes 'em easier to skin and butcher"

He's such a gentle person

You put a Road Armor bumper and grille guard and I think you might be able to push a few cows around. They even told me that if you have an accident and you mess it up, they will make you a new one. Sweet!

Tykateexcursion, what does this mean "I tried to log to vote and all i get is a sales page" ?

So, that's two votes for Canada then.
