87 f 150
New problem.......Hubby is at work or I should say close to it. The truck died and won't restart. He says it is not getting fuel. The truck has dual tanks and our 3 yr old son flipped the switch to the rear tank yesterday. We don't use that tank due to the truck won't pick up fuel from it. We think the pump in it is shot. What could be going on with the truck.

The fuel in the rear tank could be bad stopping up the filter, injecters etc.. The pump may have gone bad in the front tank, sometimes they go quickly. Check the schrader valve on the fuel rail to see if it has fuel pressure, and smell in the rear tank for a varnish smell.
